INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., July 5, 2006 – Jonathan Horton of Houston and David Durante of Garfield, N.J., who finished first and third, respectively, at the 2006 Tyson American Cup, are among the 99 male gymnasts competing in the 2006 U.S. Men’s Qualifier, which is the men's last opportunity to qualify to compete in the 2006 Visa Championships. 2004 Olympic silver-medalist Jason Gatson of Mesa, Ariz., is also entered. The U.S. Men’s Qualifier is July 15 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The one-day competition features two sessions, 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tickets are $7 and available at the door on the day of competition. Children ages 4-and-under are admitted free. Both junior and senior men compete in both sessions, and after the conclusion of the second session, the determination will be made about which athletes will advance to the 2006 Visa Championships, Aug. 16-19, at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.
